Overview

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Cyntrix Labs website and the purchase of any products, software, digital files, or services offered through it. By accessing this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms in full.

Cyntrix Labs is a brand operated by CyntrixLabs LLC, a Texas limited liability company. References to "Cyntrix Labs," "we," "us," or "our" in these terms refer to CyntrixLabs LLC.

Services and Products

Cyntrix Labs offers the following through its two divisions:

Cyntrix Works

• Laser-engraved physical products
• 3D-printed physical products
• Custom engraving services
• Mail-in laser engraving service for customer-supplied items
• Digital 3D model file downloads
• OrderTrax, a SaaS order management platform for small production businesses

Cyntrix Systems

• Software licenses and tools
• Professional workflow services
• Website design and development services

Orders and Payment

All purchases are subject to availability and acceptance by Cyntrix Labs. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors or suspected fraud.

Payments are processed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. By completing a purchase, you also agree to Stripe's terms. Cyntrix Labs does not store your full payment card details.

Prices are listed in USD and are subject to change without notice. Tax may be applied at checkout based on applicable law.

Mail-In Engraving Service

Our mail-in engraving service is a customization service performed on items you already own and send to us. You are purchasing engraving labor and handling, not a product. The following terms apply to every mail-in engraving order, in addition to the rest of these Terms.

Ownership and authority

By placing a mail-in engraving order, you represent and warrant that you own the item you send, or that you have the legal right and permission to have it modified. You agree not to send items that are stolen, unlawful to modify, or subject to restrictions that prohibit engraving.

Designs and content you provide

You retain ownership of any text, logos, artwork, or files you submit. You represent and warrant that you own or have the rights to use everything you submit, and that engraving it will not infringe the intellectual property, trademark, privacy, or other rights of any third party. You grant Cyntrix Labs a limited license to use your submitted content solely to produce and fulfill your order. You agree to indemnify and hold Cyntrix Labs harmless from any claim, loss, or expense arising out of content you submit, including claims of intellectual property infringement.

Shipping your item to us

You are responsible for packaging your item securely and shipping it to us. You bear all risk of loss or damage while the item is in transit to our facility. We strongly recommend a trackable, insured shipping method. Cyntrix Labs is not responsible for items lost, delayed, or damaged before they are received at our facility.

Inspection, suitability, and pre-existing condition

We inspect and photograph items on arrival. Cyntrix Labs is not responsible for pre-existing wear, damage, or defects. We reserve the right to decline any item we determine is unsuitable or unsafe to engrave, in which case we will contact you and return the item or refund the engraving fee at our discretion.

Risk of engraving

Laser engraving is permanent and cannot be reversed. Some materials, coatings, and finishes can react unpredictably, including cracking, warping, discoloration, or other changes. By placing an order, you accept these inherent risks. We will use reasonable care, but we cannot guarantee a specific result on customer-supplied items.

Manufacturer warranties

Engraving or otherwise modifying an item can void the manufacturer's warranty and may affect the item's resale value. You are responsible for confirming any warranty or return implications with the manufacturer or retailer before placing your order. Cyntrix Labs is not responsible for any loss of warranty coverage that results from engraving.

Our liability for your item

Notwithstanding the general Limitation of Liability below, to the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for physical loss of or damage to your item from any cause while it is in our possession will not exceed the item's estimated replacement value as declared by you on the order form. You are responsible for providing an accurate estimated value. We are not liable for the inherent risks of engraving described above.

Proof approval

If a proof is provided for your approval, you are responsible for reviewing it carefully. Once you approve a proof, you accept the layout, spelling, and content as shown. Cyntrix Labs is not responsible for errors in an approved proof.

Turnaround times

Any turnaround times we provide are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Turnaround begins when your item is received and does not include shipping time in either direction.

Refunds for custom work

Because mail-in engraving is custom work performed on your item, it is non-refundable once production has begun. See our Refund and Return Policy for details.

Return shipping and unclaimed items

We return completed items using an insured, trackable method to the address you provide. You are responsible for providing an accurate return address. If an item is returned to us as undeliverable, or if you do not respond to delivery attempts, we will hold it for ninety (90) days. After that period, unclaimed items may be disposed of or donated, and no refund is owed.

Custom Products Made from Content You Provide

Some store products are personalized or manufactured from content you supply, such as uploaded logos, artwork, images, text, or data encoded in a QR code (for example, custom laser-engraved business cards). The following terms apply to every such order, in addition to the rest of these Terms.

You retain ownership of the content you submit. You represent and warrant that you own or have the rights to use everything you submit, and that reproducing or engraving it will not infringe the intellectual property, trademark, publicity, privacy, or other rights of any third party, and does not violate any law or the policy of any organization whose insignia or marks it contains. You grant Cyntrix Labs a limited license to use your submitted content solely to produce and fulfill your order. You agree to indemnify and hold Cyntrix Labs harmless from any claim, loss, or expense arising out of content you submit, including claims of intellectual property infringement. We reserve the right to decline any order whose content we reasonably believe is infringing, unlawful, or hateful, in which case we will refund it.

Product previews shown while configuring a custom product are a design reference. Exact engraving contrast, line weight, and appearance can vary with the material and the artwork supplied. Custom products are made to order and are not returnable except as described in the Refund and Return Policy.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, product designs, software, and digital files, is the property of Cyntrix Labs and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing on this site grants you any license or right to use our intellectual property except as described below.

3D Model Files: Personal Use License

Purchasing a personal use license for a 3D model file grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to print and use the model for personal, non-commercial purposes only. The following are not permitted under a personal use license:

• Selling, distributing, or sharing the original file
• Using the model to manufacture or produce items for sale
• Recreating or repackaging the design for commercial use

Any derivative design that is based on, adapted from, or substantially similar to a Cyntrix Labs original design remains the intellectual property of Cyntrix Labs, regardless of modifications made.

3D Model Files: Commercial Use License

A commercial use license grants permission to print and sell physical items produced from the model file, subject to the specific terms included with that license tier. Commercial licenses do not grant rights to resell, sublicense, or redistribute the digital file itself. Derivative designs remain the property of Cyntrix Labs.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use this site or our products for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the site or interfere with any other party's use of it. Prohibited uses include but are not limited to:

• Submitting false or fraudulent orders
• Using our digital files in violation of the applicable license
• Attempting to reverse-engineer or copy our software products
• Using our site in any manner that violates applicable law

Disclaimer of Warranties

This site and all products are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Cyntrix Labs makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or servers are free of viruses or other harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Cyntrix Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or our products. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or service at issue.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Texas.

Changes to These Terms

Cyntrix Labs reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
